Thinking

On the highland, there are a lot of things that need to take care of everyday, especially in this cold weather. They have to think, think about what they have to do to make everything in safe. And this “Flower” H’mong, maybe she’s thinking like that, too. 

The beautiful clothes could not hide the sadness but fully strong on this lady’s face. She always believes in life and has a strong energy to make it real. A beautiful wild!

Last moments in the old studio

Last Sunday was a busy day for Mr. Ha. He had to move his living place to the new one. It’s a quite far from the city. But the new place is really good for his inspiration.

2 Sisters

This painting makes me think about my sisters. They are the same age with these 2 girls. Although sometimes there’s cry, anger, or something bad between them. But finally, they are still sisters, love each others, share everything.

There’s an invisible thing that will make you smile when see this painting, a hard to explain feeling. it makes you think about your childhood, carefree and a smile always be bloomed on the lips.

Shy

This painting is about a beautiful little girl, she went down to the fair to sell her products. And maybe, when the artist or someone else is seeing her, her shy made her more beautiful.

My Sister

This is the portrait of a little H’mong girl. The hardy life is floating on her face, but she stills always confident in life.

This painting was inspired when the artist went to the highland and saw a H’mong girl when he was a student in university at that time. He said that her face is unforgettable with him, so after 10 years, he made this painting.
